Client was a wholesale apparel manufacturer selling product to wholesale distributors. Management wanted to explore creating a Direct to Consumer (DTC) brand to diversity their portfolio and fuel profitable growth.

Sidian created a comprehensive strategy and business plan to assist management in assessing the opportunity and determining how to effectively go to market.

Market Research: Sidian conducted extensive market and competitor research, including: product sampling, pricing analysis, freight and delivery norms, product assortment, customer UI, and market sizing and market share analyses.

Tech Stack Design: Sidian worked with client's IT group to build an effective tech stack design that would produce a high-converting customer experience, leveraging existing tools, and all ow for quick deployment.

Merchandising and Assortment: Team members leveraged existing wholesale product lines to curate a high-traction assortment, including selection of styles to offer, colors, and size runs.

Pricing: We developed a competitive pricing model that would position the new brand competitively in the market, while maintaining highly attractive margins.

Business Model & Forecasting: Developed a detailed financial model and 10 year forecast which included customer acquisition spend, ROAS, conversion rates, AOV, return rates, cost of customer acquisition, gross profit margin, fixed and variable costs, and projected EBITDA.

Brand Development: Our team worked closely with the client's creative agency to develop a potent brand with a clear, potent message that would have mass appeal and allow for significant market share capture.

Results:

Produced a compelling business plan and strategy presentation. Project is currently pending leadership approval.
